Hi! I'm Jess and already a member. I've been unable to come on here for almost a year-still have no idea why as I never had this website blocked. I also wanted to change my user name but for some reason I can't do that. No longer a member of the Lions Club so hopefully can get that resolved. Anyhow, I've spent most of my time working out at the gym, volunteering and working on my websites. Plus having a new addiction to twitter and reconnecting with sighted friends on facebook. As of now I'm enjoying life as it is. The most important thing to me right now is the man I care for deeply whose serving overseas with the air force. Since this is a public board can't say where he is or what he does with that branch of the military. I love him and hope he comes home soon and is safe while doing what he loves and does best! I've known him since high school - we had club and class together.
Other than that I'm just hanging around. I'm online late at night because of the time change for chatting with my love overseas. I better close this and send him his nightly bear hug and warm thoughts. He gets my emails during the day when I send them at night. If he doesn't get anything from me he gets worried. E-mailing him every night is a release for me. You have no idea how hard it is to have a friend working for the military let alone a spouse, significant other or a family member. E-mailing my love makes me feel more at ease. I know he can't reply to many of them but I know he's listening, I know he's thinking of me.
